Good morning everyone.
I hope everyone had a great weekend. We had a busy one, actually a busy week to be honest. I had 2 classes last week, my niece Naomi’s 19th birthday celebration, a golf tournament, a fabulous wedding and then add in me trying to get my canning done. I have some jars of chili sauce and salsa done so far, I need to get my corn done before the season is over and then my tomato sauce. Needless to say I had a nap Sunday afternoon!!
Today I want to share a treat bag I made as one of my display items for my Holiday Catty Open House using the super cute Spooky Fun Stamp Set and Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies, these can be bought as a bundle for a 10% savings over buying them separately,(pg. 52 Holiday Catty, #144437, $47.50 for the bundle, #142236 $20.00 for the stamp set, #141842 $33.00 Edgelits). How cute is this treat bag, I am surprised my guys haven’t torn it open to get at the smarties!!
The bag is one of our new Gusseted Cellophane Bags (#141704, $6.50 for 25 bags) found on page 176 of the Annual Catty, they are a great size I think and can be used for some many different things besides candy I think!
I closed the top of my bag with a couple of staples (Handheld Stapler pg 185 Annual Catty, #139083, $13.50) then a piece of Halloween Night Designer Washi Tape (pg 51 Holiday Catty, #142026, $10.75 for 5 rolls). My inspiration for this treat bag came from the Holiday Catty, there is a photo of a gift bag on page 52 that I just changed it to the clear cello bag to display my treats better.
Remember if you don’t have your own copy of the Holiday Catty yet please let me know and we can arrange for you to get one from me.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a fantastic Monday!
Hugs,
Marcy
