Hello everyone!
I am still in Florida with Brad and his mom (she flys home tomorrow) and we have been working hard to sort through all the personal effects and get the trailer ready to have viewings. After 4 days I can say we are ready! Yesterday was super tough for me as we went through the kids toys, the flood of memories was a bit overwhelming for me. I could still remember the Easter we bought the boys a garage with a multi level ramp that we assembled after they had gone to bed….Danielle’s little pink doll stroller, the bikes that were bought at yard sales for them to ride down here on our holidays, the basketball net… it was like a wave of sadness rushed over me as we finished loading it into Rudy’s truck (Helen and Al’s handyman) and I had to walk away before Helen saw me crying. I know it is a very emotional situation for her to have to sell her beloved Florida property so I have been so careful to not shed any tears in front of her. Making her choose what she wants us to bring back home with us is hard enough on her without me, her daughter-in-law adding to her stress by crying in front of her……
Anyway… the sign went up yesterday afternoon.Seeing that sign made it real for sure!!
Helen and the agent Ned came up with the price of $45,000, they considered what was for sale in the area that was comparable and felt that it was a great price as it is in move in condition and has been lovingly maintained. This morning she got a call for a walk through, not even 24 hours after it was listed, a positive sign. Fingers crossed it doesn’t drag on too long for her as I can only imagine how painful it is for her to sell.
Okay, on to today’s card (thanks for indulging me while I babbled on!!!), I know that’s the reason you came by today!
How stinking cute is this little bunny!!!!
My card is inspired by a layout I saw by Susan Wong, I tweaked it of course, changing a few things. Thanks Susan for the inspiration!
My cute little bunny is from the ADORABLE Basket Bunch stamp set (sorry to yell that at you but it’s true, it is ADORABLE!!!!!), my greeting is from the cute Glamper Greetings stamp set that carried over from the Holiday Catalogue. Although my card is pink, you could certainly switch up the colours to make it a boy card, or even a baby card… so many possibilities, such a great stamp set!!!
Thank you so much for stopping by, I really appreciate it!!!
Hugs,
Marcy
