Hi everyone!
I am super excited to be officially added as a member of the What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog Design Team!!!
That being said, I want to welcome you to another week of What Will You Stamp? This week we were challenged to use the Pick a Pumpkin stamp set from the Holiday Catalogue.
Here is the card I created using this adorable set.I bet with the name of the stamp set you were not expecting a pink card with a little bouquet on it!!
Yes there are some great pumpkin images in this stamp set, but I went off in another direction when I saw the little flower sprig, at least that is what my brain told me it was!
I saw this and thought I could use it along with the Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits Dies (the Pick a Pumpkin stamp set & Patterned Pumpkins Thinlits are Bundled together in the Holiday Catalogue for a 10% savings, I ALWAYS buy the Bundle!!) to create a cute little bouquet. Being a pink kind of girl, of course I had to make my flower stems pink and give the background a pink watercolour wash.To create this, I simply squeezed my Pink Pirouette ink pad so the ink transfers to the lid and then picked up the ink with my Aqua Painter to colour on my Shimmery White cardstock, easy peasy.
With our new Mini Dimensionals, it is easy to pop up small images on your card front, no more cutting down the regular sized ones!I coloured in my flower stems with my new Pink Pirouette Stampin’ Blends markers, the light and dark markers were perfect for this!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I really appreciate it!
