Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing one of the first cards I made with the awesome Half Full stamp set way back in August.
You may be wondering why I hadn’t shared it before, well…. I had forgotten about this beautiful card as I did not have it as part of one of my classes. When I was gathering all my cards to send out, I came across it on a shelf in my craft room. I went looking through all my photos on the computer and finally found it in the August folder. This beautiful card has been waiting a long time for me to share it, so here it is finally.
I have to say that this was my favourite card that I have created with this stamp set so far, and also that the photos do not do it justice, the little details in this card are so pretty in person!!
I used Wink of Stella on the wine bottle and holly, and my Fine-Tip Glue Pen on the wine glass. I fussy cut all the different elements from this set and popped them up with dimensionals and glue dots. I sponged the brick wall in the background using the Pattern Party Decorative Mask, my Sponge Brayer and Crumb Cake and Soft Suede ink pads.
I have my bottle and glass sitting on a shelf that I used a piece of the Wood Textures 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper Stack (they couldn’t be just floating on my card now could they??) that has a holiday garland attached to it. I created this by opening up a Boxwood Wreath Embellishment and attaching it with glue dots, some Real Red Enamel Shapes finish it off and make it coordinate with the holly from the set.
Yes, I even fussy cut the holly for the inside of the card, doesn’t it look so great!
I hope you like today’s card, everything I used can be purchased in my Online Store.
