Hi Everyone!
Today I am sharing my Maisie’s Makes for the month of January, 2024
https://youtube.com/live/wst1kpBvhbE
For those of you that may be new here and are wondering what Maisie’s Makes are, let me explain;
*after review I have decided to lower to spending threshold to $50.00 for either and $60 for both*
This is a rewards program (Mini Class) where I create three different cards (Maisie’s Makes) and choose a different embellishment (Marcy’s Merch) each month, those who order a minimum of $50.00 (before shipping & tax) with me throughout the month (class and club orders do not count) get to choose whether they would like either the card guts (Maisie’s Makes) or the embellishments (Marcy’s Merch), if you spend $60.00 then you get both. Nothing is stamped for you, you use whatever stamps and inks you have on had to create your cards once you receive them. Once the month is over I will reach out to ask what you would like, I then will order in the embellishments and supplies to get ready to prep and send out to those who have earned them, fun eh!
Card 1 – A Little Love Card
- Thick Basic White cardstock card base – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side – I cut 1″ off the 4-1/4″ card front
- Real Red cardstock – 3-1/8″ x 5-3/8″, a strip to stamp the sentiment on (I used white embossing powder and heat set it), pls a piece to die cut out a bunch of hearts from the Sending Love Dies
- Basic White cardstock – 3″ x 5-1/4″ (I used the Destressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder on this layer), 3″ x 5-1/4″ (for the inside of the card), a piece to stamp 5 envelopes (I fussy cut them, but there is a die that coordinates with the stamp)
- Most Adorned 12″ x 12″ Specialty DSP (SAB item) – red with white hearts pattern – 1″ x 5-3/8″
- I added 5 Champagne Iridescent Dots to my card front
- My envelopes are stamped with Basic Gray ink
Card 2 – Arrow Fold Card – this card was inspired by a card I saw made by Tami White
- Moody Mauve cardstock card base – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side – to get the point I marked the center of the 5-1/2″ side, placed it in the center of the cutting track on my paper trimmer, angled it so that the trimmer blade would slice off the side to the score line, flipped it and then did the other side
- Moody Mauve cardstock – a piece to die cut the bow and hearts
- Basic White cardstock 0 4″ x 5-1/4″ (2 of these), I marked the center just like the card base and sliced the sides off, the piece for the front was embossed using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder, a strip to stamp the sentiment on in Moody Mauve ink, 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
- Flirty Flamingo cardstock – a piece to die cut the envelope, plus a piece to layer under the sentiment strip
Card 3 – Happy Mail Card
- Real Red cardstock card base – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ on the 8-1/2″ side
- Real Red cardstock – a piece to die cut the letters from the Mini Alphabet Dies, a piece to die cut out the hearts
- Coastal Cabana cardstock -4-1/8″ x 5-3/8
- Basic White cardstock – 4″ x 5-1/4″ (2 of these) – I used Coastal Cabana ink and a Blending Brush to colour the piece for the card front, a piece to die cut the mailbox and stamped envelope
- Crumb Cake cardstock – a piece to die cut the mailbox post
- Basic Gray cardstock – a piece to die cut the mailbox flag , this is attached with a white brad
- Old Olive cardstock – a piece to die cut the grass mound
