Hello everyone and welcome to the first Creating Kindness Blog Hop!!
We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world who have come together as a team to share our passion for crafting with all of you.
I am thrilled to be a part of the amazingly talented team, I hope you enjoy and are inspired by all of our creations.
The card I am sharing with you today is one I created with the beautiful new stamp set Happy Birthday Gorgeous and two of the new In Colors, Berry Burst and Powder Pink.
My card base is Thick Whisper White, cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″. My next layer is Berry Burst, this is cut to 4 1/8″ x 5 1/4″, the top layer is Whisper White and it is 4″ x 5 1/4″. My circles are Berry Burst die cut using the Layering Circles Framelits and Shimmery White cardstock, die cut using the Stitched Shapes Framelits. My sentiment is heat embossed using Silver Stampin’ Emboss powder, I also did a watercolour wash on the background using Powder Pink.
I just love the effect doing a soft watercolour wash gives an image, don’t you?
Not only is today an exciting day because our new Design Team Blog Hop, BUT, it is June 1st and the new 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue goes live today at 12 pm MT or 2 PM EST, can you guess what I will be doing at exactly 2 pm???
