Welcome to another addition of the Creating Kindness Design Team Blog Hop, we are all so happy to have you hop along with us!!
This month’s hop is all about Colour Inspiration.
I chose to create a card from the colours surrounding me, with fall beginning, the colours of the trees are stunning and are so easy to recreate on a card. For my card I chose to use Watercolour Paper and the smooshing technique. My colours are So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz, Crushed Curry and Soft Suede, the exact colours of the trees I can see from my window right now!
I had created a different version of this card for my SASSY Stampers Social (my team get together) and used the Glossy White Cardstock and a Sponge Brayer for the version for my team. The sentiment I chose is from the Count My Blessings stamp set that can be found in the Holiday Catalogue. This was the perfect sentiment for my team card as I truly feel blessed for my amazing team, they are a great group of ladies that are so caring, fun and creative and I am lucky to have them in my life. Love you my SASSY Stampers xoxo
The leaves are from the Colourful Seasons Bundle, that can be found in the Annual Catalogue, I curled them slightly by using my Bone Folder. My bow is created by separating some of the Jute Twine (Holiday Catalogue) so it is not quite as thick. I love the rustic look it has when it is separated! I tucked a Delicate White Doilie that I cut in half and crinkled by scrunching it up in my hand under the circle that my sentiment is stamped on. I added a splatter of Clear Wink of Stella (I do love this stuff!!) and some Glitter Enamel Dots to add a little sparkle to my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I really appreciate it!
