Welcome to another week of What Will You Stamp?
This week’s stamp set is Christmas Quilt.
There are so many elements to this stamp set, and so many directions you could go when creating with it. I went in a different direction all together when I pulled this set out to create a card for today’s post.
This sentiment really popped out at me, and I thought it would be perfect for a hanging sign on a door.
I wrapped some Boxwood Wreathes around the stamped image (2 to be exact, I just trimmed off the excess), and added some Cherry Cobbler small circles from the Regals Enamel Shapes, they look like holly berries to me.
As you can see, this really pops out on the card, I would think this would be a hand deliver card as I imagine the postage would be a bit more than normal, here in Canada anyway!!
Here are all the details for my card;
Sahara Sand cardstock, cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″
Cherry Cobbler cardstock, cut to 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″
Sahara Sand cardstock, cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″, I used my Pinewood Planks 3D Dynamic TIEF with my Big Shot on this.
Cherry Cobbler cardstock, cut to 3-1/16″ x 2-3/8″
Shimmery White cardstock, cut to 2-13/16″ x 2-1/8″. I used a light watercolour wash on this using my Soft Sky ink pad and my Aqua Painter, my sentiment is stamped in Tuxedo Black ink.
I used glue dots to adhere the Boxwood Wreaths to my top layer and popped it up with dimensionals.
I used some Jute Twine tied in a bow to create the wreath hanger.
I hope you like today’s card, I am super happy with the way it turned out!!
All of the supplies I used can be purchased in my Online Store, simply click on the images below to add them to your shopping cart!
