Hi everyone!
Today I am sharing a card my lovely ladies made at my recent Apron of Love class.
This cute bundle can be found on page 47 of the Occasions Catalogue. I am happy to say it is going to be in the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue, but not as a bundle. That means if you want to save 10% when purchasing it, you better get it before it sells out as it will be sold separately.
Okay, on to my card, I saw a super cute gift card holder created by Erica Cerwin and turned it into a card.
The copper mesh behind the apron is actually the 1/4″ Copper Trim, I cut a 8″ piece and then cut it up the one side. It is actually shaped like a tube so it is easy to slip the one blade of your paper snips into the end and cut up to the other end to open it up. Once open it is easy to stretch out and make it a cool looking addition to your project.
Here are the measurements;
Calypso Coral cardstock, cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″
Soft Suede cardstock, cut to 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″
Crumb Cake cardstock, cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ and then embossed using the Pinewood Planks 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and my Big Shot.
Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack, piece cut to 3″ x 3″
Linen Thread, Copper Trim tucked behind the die cut apron.
Calypso Coral cardstock scrap, die cut out using the Apron Framelit & pocket & sentiment stamped and heat embossed.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Don’t forget the Retiring List, many things have already sold out.
Hugs,
Marcy
