Hi everyone!
Before I get to today’s post, I want to share the contest I posted yesterday during my Facebook Live. While cleaning my shelves off of the retiring stamp sets to make room for the new product I came across this kit!!! It is brand new and unused!!!! Everyone that places a $30.00 order (before shipping and taxes) either in my Online Store or in person with me until Saturday at 6pm (May 12) will be entered into a draw to WIN this Bundle. This Colour Me Happy Kit & Stamp set was $52.00. I will post the winner of this Bundle right here on Monday May 14. If you love to colour, this set is perfect for you!!
Be sure to use this months Host Code that is posted on the Side Bar of my main page when shopping in my Online Store!
Okay, on to today’s card!
Today I am sharing another fun card using a super cute stamp set that is sadly retiring.
Dad Jokes, a fun stamp set that can be found on page 46 of the Occasions Catalogue.
How fun is this sentiment, I Love it!!!! My dad used to say this to my sisters and I when we were kids, my husband also said it to our kids when they were little. There really must be a hand manual for dads, as I have heard so many of these fun sentiments from both my dad and husband!!!
Remember this stamp set is only guaranteed to be available until May 25, then it will be gone forever, or you will pay really silly prices on Ebay, just sayin……
Here are the details for my card;
Thick Very Vanilla cardstock, cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″
Night of Navy cardstock, cut to 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″
Very Vanilla cardstock, cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″, I used the Polka Dot Basics Embossing folder on this layer
Crushed Curry cardstock, punched out using the 2-1/4″ Circle Punch
True Gentleman Designer Series Paper, punched out using the 2-1/4″ Circle Punch
True Gentleman Designer Series Paper punched out using the 1-3/4″ Circle Punch
The sentiments are stamped on scrap pieces of Very Vanilla using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and then I cut them smaller using my Paper Snips
I have a little piece of Night of Navy 3/4″ Ribbon that I tied some Linen Thread around.
I die cut a pair of scissors in Silver Foil Sheets and the scissor die from the Apron Builder Framelits Dies and attached them to the Crushed Curry circle.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs,
Marcy
