Hi everyone!
I realized that I hadn’t shared the pretty tags I made for my Holiday Head Start event I had at the end of September!
Aren’t these so pretty!!
I love all the copper elements I incorporated into this tag!!
To create this tag I used some Crumb Cake cardstock, die cut it out using one of the ovals from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies. I then used the Corrugated Embossing Folder on the oval, some Bright Copper Shimmer Paint applied to the edges and ridges in the oval using a Sponge Dauber brings some of that gorgeous colour to the base of my tag. I fussy cut out a star from the Dashing Along Designer Series Paper (Host special in September) and used the Sponge Dauber and Bright Copper Shimmer Paint on the edges of this as well. I die cut some Cherry Cobbler cardstock out with one of the elements from the Detailed Dear Thinlits Dies and glued it to the back of the star. Next up, I used some Copper Metallic Thread behind this, I then glued it to a strip of copper glimmer paper from the Joyous Noel 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper. A few Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels placed across the tag brings a bit more to the look of it. I attached some Merry Merlot & Copper 5/8″ Reversible Ribbon attached to the back of the oval finishes it off, and allows it to hang from the handle of the bags I attached them to.
Pretty easy, but really brings the Wow factor I think!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, and remember, all of the products I used (except the Dashing Along DSP) can be purchased in my Online Store.
Hugs,
Marcy
