Today I have a card for you that uses the Tea Together stamp set (page 49 of the Occasions Catalogue) and the coordinating Tea Time Framelits (Level 2 Reward found on page 17 of the Sale-A-Bration Brochure).
This set really spoke to me as I have fine bone china tea cups that I use for my own cup of tea as well as for my monthly Stamp Chat Snack class where I serve tea to my lovely ladies after they are done creating their cards.
I used Stazon black ink to stamp my tea cup and flower as I knew I wanted to watercolour the images. Memento ink is used for colouring with the Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers, Stazon is used for watercolouring. My colours are Petal Pink, Balmy Blue and Pear Pizzazz.
Here are the measurements for my card;
Thick Whisper White cardstock base, cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″
Balmy Blue cardstock, cut to 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
Whisper White cardstock, cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″
Balmy Blue cardstock, cut to 3 1/8″ x 3 4/8″
Whisper White cardstock, cut to 3″ x 3 1/4″, I sponged this layer with Balmy Blue
Shimmery White cardstock, two pieces large enough to stamp the tea cup and flower in Stazon ink, watercolour and then die cut out using the Tea Together Framelits Dies
