Earlier this week my team and I had our monthly SASSY Social, this month was an extra special on as we had a VIP guest, Dale Hampshire from the Stampin’ Up! Canadian Home Office!!
In the summer, Dale had posted to the Canadian Demonstrator Facebook Page that he was willing to go anywhere in Canada to visit team meetings, the team leaders just needed to apply with when and where their meeting was. I took a big step out of my comfort zone and put my September team meeting date down, never imagining that we would be picked!! I had told my ladies that I had done this as I felt it important to do things that scare you in order to grow, and that I was trying to set a good example for them. They were so excited at the possibility, and we waited to hear if we were chosen…. when I got the email from Dale that he would love to join our September SASSY Social (my team is called Marcy’s SASSY Stampers, and I call our monthly meetings a Social as that is what it is, we get together, chat and have fun!), you could have picked me up off the floor!!!! When I told my ladies at our August Social, there was a lot of screams of joy happening, they were all so excited that we were chosen!!!
Sadly not everyone was able to attend, but I did do a Facebook Live on our team page so they could watch
Here are a few photos of Dale and my ladies crafting away
We had to get a group photo as well!
It was such a great night, and my ladies and I truly appreciated Dale choosing our team to visit, a night I know I will not forget!
