Hi everyone!
Today I have a pretty card for you that uses the Painted Poppies stamp set and coordinating Painted Labels dies, along with the fabulous Poppy Moments stamp set
This pretty card was one that I had created for my OnStage presentation back in November, I am just getting around to sharing the projects now with you as I just had my class focused on this bundle
To create the different tones in the Petal Pink stamped flowers, I first stamped the outline image in full strength Petal Pink, I then inked up the watercolour splotch (at least that is what I am calling it) in Petal Pink and then “stamped off” of a piece of scrap paper to remove some of the ink. I then stamped the splotch image over top of the outline image and have the pretty two toned coloured image you see here on my card
I used my Dark Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blend to colour the Whisper White 1/4″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon to tie it in with my colours and give the card front some added “pop” of that pretty colour!
Some of the pretty Peaceful Poppies Sequins added to the card front add that final little wow to my card
The two flower images and congratulations sentiment on the inside make it as pretty as the outside, remember to show the inside of your cards some stamped love!
Here are the measurements for my card;
Petal Pink card stock base – 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
Poppy Parade card stock – 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
Whisper White card stock – 3 3/4″ x 5″ for the card front, 4″ x 5 1/4″ for the inside of the card, plus a piece large enough to die cut out a label from the Painted Label Dies
Whisper White 1/4″ Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon – approximately 9″
