Today I have a fun card to share with you that uses the Shark Frenzy Bundle from the Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalogue
I needed a fun card for my girlfriend who just became a grandma for the first time, so I went through my stamps and decided that the Shark Frenzy Bundle would be perfect, I also pulled out Seaside Spray as I wanted to have another play with this fabulous In Colour before it is gone!
As this stamp set didn’t have an appropriate greeting for the the inside of my card, I pulled out my Prettiest Birthday stamp set (also from the Mini Catalogue), while I have not been blessed with being a grandparent yet, I am sure it is an adventure, and a fun one at that!
My & came from the Make A Difference stamp set from the Annual catalogue
Here are the measurements for my card;
Thick Basic White cardstock base – 4-1/4 x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″
Seaside Spray cardstock -4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″, plus 3 strips to die cut the waves
Basic White cardstock – 4″ x 5-1/4″, plus pieces to stamp and die cut out the 3 sharks, the hat, purse and circles
My sharks are stamped in Gray Granite for the outline images, then the two males are stamped in Seaside Spray, the female is stamped in Blushing Bride, the purse and hat are also stamped in Gray Granite, the hat is coloured with the So Saffron Combo Blends and Light Highland Heather, the purse is coloured with Light Highland Heather Blend as well.
Grandpa sharks hat is die cut out of Basic Black cardstock
I used my Blending Brushes with Seaside Spray and Granny Apple Green ink to colour both the waves as well as the background, I love the layered look it gave me
