Hi everyone!
Are you like me and have part packages of DSP (Designer Series Paper) on your shelf? If so, today’s quick and easy card will help you use it up!
I used the Artistry Blooms DSP as a layer on my card to add that pop of colour behind the Butterfly Brilliance stamped card front, I believe that this DSP was the my used from the Annual Catalogue as I only had a part package left. While the one side may be a bit much for me, the B side with its Ombre/watercoloured look is right up my alley, isn’t it so great that we have 2 sides to choose from with Stampin’ Up!s fabulous DSP (Designer Series Paper)!
I encourage you to get out your DSP and “Love It, Chop It”, it will make you happy to use all that pretty paper you have been hording, trust me!
Here are the measurements as well as products I used to create this card;
Thick Basic White cardstock base – 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″
Artistry Blooms DSP – 4″ x 5-1/4″
Basic White cardstock – 3-3/4″ x 5″ – I stamped the butterfly’s in Gray Granite on this layer using my Stamparatus
Basic Black cardstock – a piece to die cut out a label from the Pierced Blooms Dies – I used the sentiment from Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set and embossed it with White Embossing Powder
I took some of the white twine from the Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack, separated it and adhered it to back of the label for added interest
I finished my card off with 3 Opal Rounds, small additions like this add so much more dimension and interest to your cards!
All of the items I used are available for purchase in my Online Store, please use this month’s Host Code if your order is under $200. Thank you for choosing to shop with me, I truly appreciate your business xo
Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs,
Marcy
