Today I am sharing the card I created for Brad for our 32 Anniversary, I find it hard to believe that 32 years have gone by already as I can still picture us at 24 years old and getting married!
I love cute and whimsical so I knew I wanted to create something with the adorable Count On Me stamp set, the adorable Koalas were perfect.
I paired the fun clouds and hearts from the Give It A Whirl Dies with the Koalas, I gave the background of my card front a soft blue hue with my Blending Brushes and Balmy Blue ink, I also went and brushed some of the ink around the edges of the clouds, and then added a tiny bit of Clear Wink Of Stella around the edges to give a very subtle glitter to them
I used the piece of Basic White cardstock that I die cut the three clouds out of as a stencil and gave the inside of my card some fluffy clouds, my sentiment is from the Create With Friends stamp set
Here is the video;
Here are the measurements for my card;
Thick Basic White cardstock base – 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″
Polished Pink cardstock- one piece that measures 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″, one piece that measures 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″, plus a scrap to die cut out the three hearts
Basic White cardstock – one piece that measures 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″, two pieces that measures 4″ x 5-1/4″, one for the inside of the card and one to die cut out the three clouds and use as a stencil for the inside
Thick Basic White cardstock – a scrap to stamp, colour and fussy cut out the Koala Bears
I love how my card turned out, I know Brad will like it as well
