Today’s card is a very quick and easy card that uses the Brew Some Fun stamp set from Stampin’ Up!
We all need a quick and easy card every now and then, and this card definitely fits the bill!
While my card may be “quick and easy”, it still is quite pretty and has some sparkle to it, if you have been following me for a while, you know how I love my sparkle!
The inspiration for my card came from a Sketch Challenge group, The Global Design Project
As you can see, I simply took a “screen shot” of their Instagram post with my phone of the card layout and went from there. Colour challenges, sketch challenges, those type of groups and posts are so wonderful for getting those creative juices flowing, all you have to do is find one that appeals to you and go from there, I highly recommend you give them a try!
Here are the measurements for my card:
Thick Basic White cardstock base – 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″
Fresh Freesia cardstock – one piece that measures 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ for the card front and one piece that measures 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″ for the inside of the card
Basic White cardstock – one piece that measures 3-3/4″ x 5″ for the card front, one piece that measures 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside of the card and a strip to stamp the sentiment on, mine is 3/4″ x 2″
My ink colours are Fresh Freesia and Gorgeous Grape
My ribbon is the pretty Highland Heather 1/2″ Grosgrain, I love how it has sparkle woven right in it!
I tucked a big loopy bow that I made with the silver trim from the Simply Elegant Trim under my sentiment piece, and the final touch (that you can not see in the photo) is a little dot of Clear Wink Of Stella on the center of each flower
