Hi everyone!
Today I have a fun card for you that uses the fun Hats Off Bundle (I really didn’t think I needed this Bundle, but I saw way too many cute cards that I caved and it made it into my shopping cart during Free Shipping last month!) and the beautiful You’re A Peach DSP (Designer Series Paper), this DSP is one of the papers that is on sale this month for 15% off!
Since this paper is on sale, I thought I would share a fun way to use it for a card base, not just a layer on the card
What do you think, pretty right?!
Here are the measurements for my card;
You’re a Peach DSP (Designer Series Paper) card base – 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2
Calypso Coral cardstock – one piece that measures 1/2″ x 4-1/4″ (I used the border die from the Penned Flowers Dies on this piece), and another piece to die cut out a scalloped circle from the Layering Circle Dies
Pale Papaya cardstock – a piece to stamp and then die cut out using the hat from the Hat Builder Dies
Basic White cardstock – one piece that measures 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside of the card, a piece to die cut out a large circle from the Layering Circle Dies, plus a piece to die cut out the label from the Hat Builder Dies and to stamp and die cut out the cluster of flowers from the Sweet As A Peach Bundle
Pear Pizzazz cardstock – a piece to die cut out the little leaves from the Peach Dies
My ribbon is actually the Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon, I just cut it down so I was left with the solid edge piece
This card was so fun and easy to create, just image all the different cards you can create using DSP!
