Hi everyone!
I had time to play on the weekend, well not really, but I made the time to play as I haven’t really played in quite a while.
As it has been a while since I made a Paper Pumpkin alternative card and the October kit called Peaceful Christmas is so gorgeous I just had to pull it out and have a play!
I love the way my card turned out!
As a reminder, here are the original cards from this kit
Here are the measurements for my card
Shaded Spruce card base from the Paper Pumpkin kit
Basic Black cardstock – 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″, plus a strip that measures 5/8″ x 2″ for the sentiment
Basic White cardstock – 4″ x 5-1/4″ – I used the Timber 3D Embossing Folder on this layer
I snipped the velum trees apart and coloured the grouping of three trees with my Dark Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blend
I cut the buffalo check layer down to 1-1/2″ x 5″
The red flagged piece is the one label piece that I cut in half
The silver flagged piece is cut from the sheet that has the laser cut Noel in it, there is lots of leftovers for you to take pieces to add to your cards!
I added a black twine bow (from the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack) to the top right hand of my card front and added three of the pretty sparkly dots around the trees to finish my card off
