Today I have a fun card to share with you that I created with the adorable Little Ladybug Bundle that can be found on page 20 of the new Mini Catalogue from Stampin’ Up!, please reach out if you live in Canada and do not have your own copy yet (if you are not already shopping with another demonstrator) as I would love to send you one!
I know that ladybugs have black spots on them, I purposely left them off as I liked the way it looked without them for my card, you can call it “artistic license” ha-ha!
Here are the measurements for my card;
Thick Basic White cardstock base – 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″
Balmy Blue cardstock – 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
Granny Apple Green cardstock – 3-3/4″ x 5″ – I stamped the leaf image randomly in Granny Apple Green ink on this layer
Basic White cardstock – 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ – I used my Blending Brush and Balmy Blue ink pad on this layer, I also splattered some water on it using my Water Painters to get the fun water droplets, a piece to stamp the body and wings of the ladybug and punch out using the coordinating Ladybug Builder Punch, and a piece that measures 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside of my card
Basic Black cardstock – a scrap to stamp the sentiment on in Versamark ink and then heat emboss using white embossing powder
