By My Side Stamp Set – Side Gate Fold Card

Hi everyone!

I hope you have had a fabulous weekend are are ready for a brand new week!

Today I have a fun fold card for you that features the adorable By My Side stamp set that can be found on page 52 of the 2022-2023 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue.

I love these cute kiddies and their sentiments, so much fun to colour!

To create this fold I just moved where the score lines are, so instead of it being a regular Gate Fold that opens in the middle it opens on the side, giving it a different look. So easy and fun, I hope you will give it a try!

Here are the measurements for my card

Thick Basic White cardstock base – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 1-1/4″ and 5-1/2″

Parakeet Party cardstock – 1-1/8″ x 5-3/8″, 2-7/8″ x 5-3/8″, 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″

Butterfly Kisses 6″ x 6″ DSP – 1″ x 5-1/4″, 2-3/4″ x 5-1/4″, 3/4″ x 4″

Basic White cardstock – 4″ x 5-1/4″

Thick Basic White cardstock – a piece to die cut out the largest tag from the Designer Tags Dies, my image and sentiment is stamped on this layer, I cut the bottom part of the tag off so I would have a straight edge

Vellum cardstock – 1-1/4″ x 10″ this is for the belly band

I coloured some White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon with my Light Parakeet Party Stampin’ Blends to create a matching bow

I added three of the 2022-2024 In Colour Matte Dots to finish my card off

My image is stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured in with the following Blends – #900, Calypso Coral, So Saffron, Starry Sky, Crumb Cake and Pool Party
