Hi everyone!<\/p>\n

Today I want to share a card with you that combines the new Brusho Colour Crystals and the Beautiful Day stamp set, both of which can be found on page 26 of the new Occasions Catalogue.<\/p>\n

\"\"As you can see, the Brusho gives your background such a cool and dramatic effect, I love it!!!<\/p>\n

I started with a piece of Watercolour Paper, I spritzed it with water and then sprinkled some Brilliant Red Brusho, then Prussian Blue (be very sparing with the blue as it is very dark and can overtake the other colour), then I spritzed it again with more water to get more movement from the colour crystals.<\/p>\n

Once dry, I stamped the butterfly image on the background using VersaMark then sprinkled some White Emboss Powder and heat it using my heat tool. I do not recommend doing it in this order, I should have embossed my image first before I used my Brusho as I stained my Embossing Buddy when I used it on the Brusho background. As I don’t want to take a chance on the colour transferring onto anything else the next time I use it, I ordered another Embossing Buddy right away. Yup, I goofed up!!!<\/p>\n

Of course I spritzed some Wink of Stella to add some pretty sparkle, I do love my sparkle!!<\/p>\n

I masked off the first part of the “Always thinking of you” sentiment from the stamp set as I only wanted the thinking of you part, this way it can be used for a bit more. Thinking of you “on your birthday”, “hope you feel better”….. you know what I mean. I stamped it in Fresh Fig ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock.<\/p>\n
