Good morning everyone.
It’s a super exciting day for me as I am heading to Etobicoke later today for the Catalogue Kickoff!! I was not able to go to the last one that was in the spring so when they announced the date of this one and I saw that I was available I did the happy dance!!! Can you just imagine the energy that is going to be flowing in a movie theatre that is full of excited Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, woohoo I am so excited!!!
Yesterday morning after I finished prepping for my class I sat down at my craft desk feeling the need to create something pink and sparkly, those who know me well know I love pink and sparkly!!
This is the card I came up with, I hope you like it.
As it was Stamp, Chat, Snack night I had to come up with a yummy snack for the ladies, I decided on a “tried and true” peanut butter cookie recipe. I found it on the Kraft web site a few years back, it is such an easy but yummy recipe to make. I’m going to share a couple of photo’s just to tempt you, the first is them cooling on the pan, the next is them all ready for the ladies.
Here is the recipe
1 cup peanut butter (I mix 1/2 cup smooth with 1/2 cup crunchy)
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
Mix all 3 ingredients until well blended, place in the fridge for 1/2 hour until mixture is chilled enough to roll into balls.
Heat oven to 325. Roll dough into balls and place 2 inches apart on a lined cookie sheet, using a fork press down on the balls to flatten them and make a cross hatched design. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes. Cool completely. Melt 4 squares of chocolate, dip each end of the cookie in the melted chocolate, place the cookies on a lined cookie sheet and place the tray in the fridge until chocolate sets.
Makes 18 cookies
