Hi everyone!
Today I have an adorable card for you that I am calling the “The Love Boat”
When I got the idea for this card, the show The Love Boat from the seventies popped into my head (I loved that show!), and now the theme song is stuck in my head haha
To create my card I used the On The Ocean Bundle, Country Bouquet stamp set and Rays Of Light background stamp, I love mixing stamp sets & dies together, it give me much more versatility and use out of the products I own!
My ship sails are created by die cutting the Country Floral Lane DSP, and the ribbon behind is from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack
I love how my card turned out!
Here are the measurements for my card:
- Petal Pink cardstock card base – 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″
- Crumb Cake cardstock – 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″, plus pieces to die cut the ship & the sale & mast
- Balmy Blue cardstock – 4″ x 5-1/4″, I used the Rays of Light stamp set on this layer, it is stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Clear Embossing Powder
- Petal Pink cardstock – 1/2″ x 2-5/8″, I heat embossed my sentiment on this layer with Versamark ink and White Embossing Powder
- Basic White cardstock – 4″ x 5-1/4″, this is for the inside of my card
