As many of you know, we adopted a dog (Ruthie) last month from a local rescue, I believe in the important work they are doing, pulling senior dogs from shelters that are at risk of euthanasia due to their age and health issues. They place the dogs in foster care, bring their vetting up to date and then find loving homes to adopt them, they run totally on donations and every little bit helps give these sweet dogs a chance at a new life.
