Inspiration, where does yours come from? Do you do anything about it when you see something that inspires you or do you just “file it away” in the vaults of your mind?
Something to ponder on this beautiful Friday morning.
The card I am sharing with you today is one that I was inspired to make while sittting in church one Sunday morning. There was an adorable family sitting in the row in front of me with three cute little girls, all in spring dresses. The one little cutie was wearing a very bright and pretty pink and orange dress that had white daisies and sparkle all over it, it was just so bright, fun, and pretty that I had to recreate it!
I knew I had everything to make a card with the Petal Potpourri stamp set and Flower Medallion punch from the Occasions Catalogue (clear bundle #138877). I sponged Whisper White card stock with Melon Mambo and Tangerine Tango ink until I got the desired colour depth I was looking for, I also did this on a second piece of W.W. to stamp the flowers on to punch out. I stamped the daisy looking flower onto my inked up card stock using Versa Mark then heat embossed it with my White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I added a sentiment and some bling to my card as well. I love how this card turned out, I am very happy that I turned something that inspired me into a card and didn’t just “file it away” this time.
Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful Friday!
