Good morning everyone!
Today’s blog post comes to you from beautiful Sauble Beach. I arrived back in Canada at 9:30 Saturday night. It was quite the day. I left convention before it was done (so sad to leave my Stampin friends) as my awesome hubby was patiently waiting to start his holidays for me. He gave up his first weekend of our summer holidays just so I could attend convention, how awesome is he, a keeper for sure!!
My flight was a little late as the plane had not even arrived when we were supposed to be boarding. I am NOT a good flyer, I suffer from motion sickness and I am claustrophobic, so not a good combination on a plane these days. They squeezed another row of seats into the plane so that my air vent was actually blowing on the back of my neck. Seriously Delta, did you consider the way non movable things are on the plane before you squeezed in another row???
I chose an aisle seat (thank goodness they didn’t move me like last year!) and the gentleman that sat down beside me had a terrible cold, he kept sneezing and blowing his nose. I kept thinking ” oh my gosh, we are so close, please don’t let me catch whatever he has!” He then proceed to pull out a tuna sandwich from his bag, yikes, smelly tuna, ugh!! Now don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a tuna sandwich (especially with crunchy pickles on it, yumm!) but not on a plane where you row mates are practically sitting on top of you, it did not help the quesieness of my tummy let me tell you!! Tuna has no business boarding a plane, for the sake of your fellow passengers please don’t be tuna guy, eat your sandwich before you board OR better yet, choose something else to eat!!!
Anyway, I arrived safe and sound in Detroit where Brad was waiting to pick me up, there is nothing like a big hug and kiss from your hubby when you haven’t seen him in a few days!!!
I wasn’t even home 24 hours before I packed up again and headed out the door, this time to our cottage in Sauble Beach, my happy place!!
We stopped at Hi-Berry Farms to get some produce for the week, I just love farm fresh veggies, don’t you?Just look at all the yumminess!!
And look at this beautiful sunset we had last night!!Like I said, my happy place!!
I did bring the swaps I got at convention but I haven’t had a chance to take photos of them, I will do that today and post them over the next week or so.
This was a very long post, thank you so much for reading all the way to the end, I really appreciate it!!
