Good morning everyone.
Today I am sharing a pretty little gift bag that I made for a friends birthday. This is the bag before I put her gift in it. I used one of the Glassine Gift Bags, I am sad to say these are retiring, I think they are such a great size and so easy to make look pretty. Here is a closer photo to show the little details that went into decorating the front of the gift bag. The DSP is the retiring Falling in Love from the Occasions Catalogue, it is no surprise that this is already sold out, it is so beautiful!! Underneath it I have a lace doilie from the Lace Doilies from the Occasions Catalogue, also retiring. I cut out two dragonfly’s, one in Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper (retiring) and the other in Vellum Cardstock. I tucked some Silver Metallic Thread behind the dragonfly and the put a Metal Rimmed Pearl on top of the dragonfly to finish it off and cover my glue dot that I used to attach the two layers together. I finished it with a bow using some Very Vanilla 1/4″ Satin Ribbon.
And here it is with the gift tucked inside.
I just love the way this turned out!!
Thanks so much for stopping by, I really appreciate it!
