Hi everyone!
I have to say that other than the extreme heat, I am loving Arizona and can guarantee that some day we will be back, just not at the end of June when it is so darn hot!
Today is the last full day we have here in Arizona, so I thought it would be the perfect time to share some photos with you of what we have been up to.
On Friday afternoon, Brad dropped me off at my girlfriend Diana’s house. We spent the afternoon catching up, looking at old yearbooks, reminiscing about our high school days, and laughing at our photos.
Here is a photo of Di & Jeff.
And here is one of Di & I
We had such a great day together, I was sad to see it end. Thanks Di & Jeff, I look forward to the next time I am in Arizona and can spend some time with you xoxo
Saturday was my nephew Drew’s graduation (the reason we are down here), it was an emotional day (the good kind) with lots of happy tears.
This is a fun photo I took of us on the way to the graduation.
Here we all are at the ceremony, yes we took up an entire row!
And here is my nephew Drew with his proud family. After, we all went for some drinks and apps, when Drew walked in, we all yelled “Dr Drew is in the house”, ha-ha, we definitely made him laugh, and everyone turn and look at us. What can I say, we are a bunch of crazy Canadians!!Yesterday morning my brother-in-law Bob (married to my younger sister Carole), niece Naomi (Carole’s youngest) and I started our day with a hike up Camelback Mountain. Bob and I didn’t go as far as Naomi, youth sometimes has its advantages.
This is a screenshot of our hike.
And here the three of us are on the trail. We found out after the fact that we had done (part of I should say) the harder trail that was rated extremely difficult, not the easy flat trail that was further down the road. I am super impressed we did it in the 95 degree heat, and so happy to have had this experience!!Today we are going out for a big breakfast (not sure what they think when 16 people come walking through the doors), chilling by the pool and then out to Top Golf tonight, a fun last day together here in Arizona!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I really appreciate it!
Hugs,
Marcy
