Celebrate You

Hi everyone!

Today I have another pink card for you, think of this as my pink week. I do love the colour pink, if you didn’t know before, you sure do now!

This gorgeous card went out in the mail last week to a few special people, I sure hope that they have all received theirs.

I used the awesome Celebrate You Thinlits Dies that can be found on page 17 of the Sale-A-Bration Brochure, they can be earned for FREE with a $120 Canadian dollar order placed directly with me or in my Online. These thinlits will be in the new Annual Catalogue that will be coming out in June, but why wait until then when you can earn them for FREE right now!!

I gave my Celebrate die cut word an ombre’ look by first sponging Powder Pink across the entire word using my Sponge Brayer, then I used my Stamping Sponges and some Berry Burst ink, starting at the bottom of each letter and getting lighter as I got towards the middle of the letter.

As you can see, this step is a little messy (this is after washing my hands!), but then ink on your fingers means you are having fun creating!!

The word amazing is die cut from a piece of Iridescent Glimmer paper from the Myths & Magic 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper stack, found on page 37 of the Occasions Catalogue, this stuff is so pretty!!!

Here are the details for my card;

Powder Pink cardstock, cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″

Berry Burst cardstock, cut to 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″

Shimmery White cardstock, cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″, I did a watercolour wash on this using some Powder Pink ink and an Aqua Painter. My words are glued to this layer, the You is die cut of of Berry Burst cardstock. A few Iridescent Sequins sprinkled across the card front finishes this pretty card off.
