Hi everyone!
Today I want to share how I created the cute note pads that everyone got at my Creative Escape.
I CASEd the idea from Sam Donald, she had posted something very similar that she had created, I thought it was a fantastic idea and really quite easy to do.
I got my note pads from Staples here in town, they did not have a cover on them so I created a little spine binder (not sure what to call it so that’s what I am going with) to wrap around the top of the note pad to hold the front cover. This is a piece of cardstock that measured 3″ x 3/4″ that I scored and burnished to get the nice crisp crease line, I then glued this to my note pad. The front cover is a piece of cardstock that measures 5″ x 3″, I attached a piece of Stampin’ Up!’s gorgeous Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) to this; it measures 3-7/8″ x 3-1/2″.
I have my stamped image (from Stampin’ Up!’s Cake Soiree stamp set) on a piece of whisper white cardstock that is attached to another piece of solid cardstock (I used both Berry Burst and Marina Mist cardstock for my note pads), and they are pooped up using dimensionals.
Like I said, a super easy project! I think it is so much fun to take a plain item and pretty it up using my Stampin’ Up! supplies!!
All the items I used to decorate my note pad can be purchased in my Online Store, simply click on the image below or click on the Shop Now button at the top of the page.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I really appreciate it!
Hugs,
Marcy
