Do you like birds? Do you like to colour?
If you do, then I have just the card for you today!
The Flying Home stamp set found on page 41 of the 2018 Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalogue is a perfect choice if you like birds and to colour!
With all the great images in this set, you will have a ball creating so many pretty cards with it!
For my card today, I chose to use the ink pads and my Aqua Painters to colour in the images. I love that we have so many options at our fingertips to colour with Stampin’ Up! products. Stampin’ Blends Alcohol Markers, ink pads/re-inkers, Watercolour Pencils, Stampin’ Write Markers along with our Aqua Painters and Blender Pens, colouring has never been easier with so many great choices!!
I stamped my image with Archival Black ink on Shimmery White cardstock, and used Fresh Fig, Crumb Cake and Old Olive ink pads with my Aqua Painter. When colouring with ink pads and Aqua Painters, I like to start with a light base of colour and then build from there, adding more colour where I want my image darker, remember, you can always add more colour, you can’t take it away, unless of course you are using Stampin’ Blends Markers, then you use the Colour Lifter.
Here are the measurements for my card so you can recreate it yourself.
Thick Whisper White cardstock, cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″
