Hi everyone!
Today I have another pretty card for you that uses the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set, I am loving this pretty bundle that can be found on page 30 of the Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalogue!

While this technique looks difficult it really is easy, it just takes a little time and prep work!

You need to first stamp the image on some repositionable tape and let it dry overnight so it doesn’t smudge, then fussy cut out the images. Stamp your images on your card then carefully pace each mask over the stamped image

Then using your Blending Brushes and desired ink pads apply the colour over top of the mased images until you get the desired colour intensity to your cardstock. Make sure you use a piece of paper to hold the cardstock so you don’t leave any oils from your fingers on the cardstock as it will affect the way the colour looks

To add the water splatter you leave the masks on, squeeze some water from the Water Painter to a block, pick it up with the Water Painter and “tap” it over the image with a Bone Folder being careful to not add to much. Once dry you carefully remover the masks

I find that if you have some white around your image then all you need to do to soften the harshness of it is grab the coordinating Light Stampin’ Blend and carefully fill in those areas, easy peasy!

For my sentiment, I masked each part of the sentiment I did not want and stamped with Versamark and heat embossed, I did this multiple times to get each of the words separate, you must clean the stamp very well after each time you stamp or you will have residual ink transfer
Here are the measurements for my card;
Thick Basic White cardstock base – 8-1/2″ x 7″, scored at 3-1/2″
Polished Pink cardstock – 8-3/8″ x 3-3/8″
Basic White cardstock – one piece that measures 8-1/4″ x 3-1/4″ for the card front, and one piece that measures 8-3/8″ x 3-3/8″ for the inside
Basic Black cardstock – a piece to stamp the sentiment on and heat emboss
