Welcome to another week of What Will You Stamp? this week we were challenged to use the Painted Harvest Stamp Set.
Here is what I created for this week’s challenge.
As my focus has moved from fall to Christmas, I chose to create a Christmas card with the sunflower stamps.
I stamped the two images 4 times, the first on the square, and then 3 more times on Whisper White cardstock. I then fussy cut each one out, curled the edges with my Bone Folder and layered them up over the first one.My colours are Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive, I sponged some Pear Pizzazz on all the edges of my fussy cut wreaths so there was no white showing. I also inked up my stamp with Old Olive, stamped it on a scratch piece of paper then stamped it on my Old Olive cardstock so the image was subtle. A tiny little red bow finishes off my wreath.
Here are the measurements for my card;
Thick Whisper White, cut to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″
Real Red, cut to 4-1/8″ x 5-3/8″
Old Olive, cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″
Real Red, cut to 2-9/16″ x 2-9/16″
Old Olive, cut to 2-1/” x 2-1/2″
Whisper White, cut to 2-3/8″ x 2-3/8″
I hope you like today’s card, and create something unexpected with your stamp set. If you want to play along with this week’s challenge, or check out what the other Team Members have created then please visit the What Will You Stamp? Challenge Blog.
