Hi everyone!
As the title of today’s blog post says, I have been having a lot of fun playing with my new Brusho Crystal Colour. Sometimes it doesn’t work out so well, that is when you use it for your framelits and die cut out pieces from it, like I did for today’s card.
I am playing along with the WWYS Challenge Blog and this week we are all using the great Ribbon of Courage stamp set.
For my card I used the one sentiment and then the coordinating framelits dies (these can be purchased as a bundle to save 10%), along with my Brusho.
As you can see, I spritzed some Wink of Stella across my card front, a little sparkle adds so much!
So as I said earlier, sometimes it doesn’t work so well when you are playing with Brusho, I thought my piece turned out too purple (not a colour I use a lot!), so I used it to die cut my flowers from. Very little is garbage in my craft room, I will try my best to re purpose something! It may have been a little too much as a solid background, but it is lovely as flowers, wouldn’t you agree?
Here are the dimensions for my card;
Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes
Elegant Eggplant cardstock, cut to 3-3/8″ x 4-7/8″
Whisper White cardstock, cut to 3-1/4″ x 4-3/4″, I have stamped my sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on this top piece and wrapped some pretty new Whisper White 1/4″ Organza Ribbon around it and tied a bow.
My flowers are die cut from a piece of Shimmery White cardstock that I used Brusho on. I put a Glitter Enamel Dot in the center of each of the flowers.
Thanks so much for stopping by today.
