Today I am sharing a cute card that the ladies created at my Bingo on Saturday.
I had seen this fun fold card online (I don’t remember who or where) and thought it was so cute and fun, I knew I wanted to recreate it using the Lighter Than Air DSP (Designer Series Paper) and Hot Air Balloon Bundle

Here are the measurements and instructions for my card:
- Lemon Lolly cardstock card base – 5-1/2” x 11”, scored at 4-1/4” & 8-1/2”, Place a “tick mark” at 1” after the 8-1/2” score line, Place the cardstock with the “tick mark” in the cutting track, angle the cardstock so that the bottom corner of this piece is also in the cutting track and cut on the diagonal. Cut 1/8” or 1/16” off the other side of the cardstock so that the front flap will close
- Lemon Lolly cardstock – a piece to die cut a label from the Thoughtful Expressions Dies
- Fresh Freesia cardstock – a piece to die cut the heart from the Hot Air Balloon Dies
- White Sparkle Paper (this is an online exclusive coming March 5) – a piece to die cut the outline heart (I put Adhesive Sheets on the back before I die cut it), using the die from the Hot Air Balloon Dies
- Basic White Cardstock – 4″ x 5-3/8″ for the card front, 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the card insert, a strip to stamp the sentiment
- Lighter Than Air DSP – the diagonal flap piece is cut to 2-3/8” x 5-3/8”, place a “tick mark” at 7/8”, place in cutting track on the diagonal like you did with the cardstock and slice off, 3/4″ x 4″ for the inside, the other pattern is 3-7/8″ x 5-1/4″
