Fluttering Garden Paper Pumpkin Kit Alterntive

First up, a giant thank you to all who were able to attend my in person retired products sale xoxo I will be posting the remaining stamp sets and bundles at a later date

Now on to today’s project!

I have finally gotten around to doing a Paper Pumpkin Alternative, yay me!

My April Paper Pumpkin Kit has yet to arrive, so I pulled out my March kit with the beautiful hummingbirds and got started on making an alternative

Here are the measurements and additional supplies for my card:

Pretty Peacock cardstock card base – 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ on the long side

Basic White cardstock – 3-3/8″ x 4-7/8″ (for the card front), 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ (for the card inside)

Pretty Peacock cardstock – a piece to die cut a label from the Nested Essentials dies – I heat embossed my sentiment on this

Pool Party Envelope – I took the envelope apart for layers on my card – front layer is the back panel cut to 3-1/4″ x 4-3/4″ (I stamped the image multiple times with versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The inside piece is the front of the envelope that is cut to 4″ x 5-1/4″ and then cut on a diagonal from the top left corner to the bottom right corner, only use a thin line of adhesive on this piece so you create a pocket to slide the white cardstock piece into (see video)

I added a printed laser cut hummingbird and three gems from the kit to the card front

My sentiment and flowers are stamped with Pretty Peacock ink, the flowers are coloured with Pool Party & Old Olive Stampin’ Blends

I added some Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to the hummingbird and flowers
