Welcome to another Creating Kindness Blog & Video Hop, this month we are focusing on techniques and our guest designer is Carolina Evans. She can be found at http://studioevans.blogspot.com/
If you are Hopping in order, then you have arrived here from my sweet friend Jenny Hall’s Blog, isn’t she fabulous!!
For my project I chose to do some ink sponging and added in some embossing paste.
I chose to create with some items from the early release Share What You Love Suite. This is an amazing new suite of products that will be available singularly in the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue, but are available now as 3 different bundles, each with different price points and free items.
Here is the video I created to go along with my Blog post.
Here are the dimensions for my card;
Soft Sea Foam cardstock, cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scored at 4-1/4″
Petal Pink cardstock, cut to 5-3/8″ x 4-1/8″
Shimmery White cardstock, cut to 5-1/4 x 4″. I sponged both Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink ink on this layer, as well as spread some embossing paste that I coloured with some Petal Pink ink.
Soft Sea Foam cardstock, die cut out using a scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits
Shimmery White cardstock, die cut out using a oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits. I stamped and embossed my sentiment on this layer using Silver Emboss Powder.
I fussy cut two different flowers from the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper and added them to the front of my card as well. A couple of pretty little pearls from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls complete the look of my soft, pretty card.
Please click on the image below to get to the next blog, it is my sweet Canadian friend Carolynn Sander, I know you will want to pop over to see what she has created!
