Hi everyone!
Today I am here with the WWYS Design Team (What Will You Stamp) and this week we are featuring the Adorable Signs of Santa stamp set. Can I just say how much I love this stamp set, with its super cute open images that are perfect for colouring in!!!!
With the gift giving season fast approaching, I created an adorable treat holder instead of a card.
Eek!!!! I just can’t handle how cute this is!!!!!!
Just look at adorable Mrs Claus with her rosy cheeks!
To create this project I used one of the Kraft Pillow Boxes. I wrapped some Poppy Parade 1/2″ Textured Weave Ribbon around the length of the pillow box and tied a pretty bow, scootching it down towards the end of the box so I had room to attach Mrs Claus at the other end.
I die cut out a scalloped circle using Garden Green cardstock and the Layering Circles Dies
I then die cut out a regular circle to layer over top of the scalloped circle
Mrs Claus is stamped in Tuxedo Black on a piece of Thick Whisper White cardstock. I coloured her in using the following Stampin’ Blends Markers; Petal Pink Combo (her face) Smoky Slate Combo (her hair), Dark Poppy Parade, and Dark Granny Apple Green. I then used the coordinating dies and my Big Shot to cut her out. Unfortunately they have sold out of the dies and they are no longer available. Mrs Claus is a fairly easy image to fussy cut out though, so even if you do not own the coordinating dies, you can cut her out and pop her up using dimensionals.
I finished the pillow box off by adding some of the frosted droplets from the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets.
