Pretty Poinsettia Christmas Card

Hi everyone!

I am here with you today with the creating Kindness Design Team, this month our theme is Seasonal Florals. This month our guest designer is the very talented Liz Holloway, she can be found here

I live in Southwestern Ontario, and we have nothing blooming at this time of year as we are covered with a blanket of snow! That being said, I chose to create a card with poinsettia’s as they are a traditional Christmas plant that all of the grocery stores and florists carry at this time of year.

Here are the measurements for my card;

Tranquil Tide cardstock, cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″, and another piece cut to 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ (I spritzed this piece with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint mixed with rubbing alcohol in a Stampin’ Spritzer)

Vellum cardstock, cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″

Whisper White cardstock, 4 pieces, one cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″ for the inside of the card, one large enough to die cut a large scalloped square from the Layering Squares, one large enough to die cut out a circle from the Stitched Shapes, and one 1/2″ x 2 1/4″ piece to stamp your sentiment on.

Gold Glimmer Paper, cut to 3 1/2″ x 7/8″
