Hi everyone!
Today I am hear with the Creating Kindness Design Team’s Monthly Hop!
This month we have all created a Bendi Card. To tell the truth, I did not know what a Bendi Card was, so I had to go to YouTube to search it out. After watching a few different videos, I came up with this card.
Isn’t this card just the cutest!!!! I knew I wanted to use the Hey Love stamp set from the Occasions Catalogue, it is very whimsical and cute, just what I was wanting for my card!
I just love how every angle shows the cuteness of this card.
To create a Bendi Card, you start with two pieces of cardstock that measure 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, one is the back of the card. The second piece is scored at 1/2″ on the long side (5 1/2″ side), then you turn the cardstock and cut it at 2 1/2″
Adhere Designer Series Paper at this point if you are going to as you need to cut a slit in two of the pieces for the cardstock notches to go into
Line up the 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4 piece at the 4″ mark on the trimmer and approximately 1″ from the bottom cut a slit according to the notch size
The two smaller pieces are scored at 3/8″ on the right side (opposite side of the scored side), cut to approximately one inch down from the top, then lift the blade and place it at the bottom and cut up, leaving enough cardstock uncut to create a notch with your scissors
Place a strong adhesive on the scored flaps as they are now wrapped around the base, use your bone folder to soften the cardstock a little to easily create a bend.
I hope my written instructions are easy to follow, if you have any questions, please ask.

Beautiful card Marcy! I love your little critters and how you have colored them. Perfect. So funny that I was also unfamiliar with what a Bendi card was. So happy to have inspiring folks to pull from.
