Today I am here with the Creating Kindness Design Team Blog Hop, and this month our guest designer is the very sweet and talented Louise Sharpe! She can be found here
I was so fortunate to meet Louise in Orlando last fall (I have followed her for a while now), and she was just as sweet in person as I imagined she would be.
Can I just say…man I had super bad hair in Orlando, it was so hot and humid (the air conditioning inside was on full blast so I had to wear a cardigan) that my fine hair was just uck!!!!!!!
Okay, enough of me gushing over Louise, back to business!
This month our theme is Birthdays, which is perfect for me as the month of February has a lot of family birthdays! My son, two nephews and a niece, and they are all within a week, from the 19 – 24!
My nephew Colin is the first of the birthdays, and he is a big outdoors guy who loves fishing, so creating a card with the Best Catch Bundle from the 2019 Occasions Catalogue was perfect to use for his card!
When I saw this set in the catalogue, I knew I had to own it as I have a lot of family members (both male and female) that love to fish, me not so much…..
Here are the measurements for my card;
Sahara Sand cardstock base, cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″
Mossy Meadow cardstock, cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″
Sahara Sand cardstock, cut to 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″
Watercolour Paper scraps large enough to stamp and die cut the fish on as well as die cut out 3 cat tails and grass
Mossy Meadow scrap large enough to die cut out a small circle from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies
Sahara Sand scrap large enough to stamp on and punch out using the 1″ Circle Punch
