Hi everyone!
Today I am here with the Creating Kindness Design Team for our monthly Hop.
This month our theme is Negative Space, and our guest designer is the talented Linda van Welly-Zwolle
If you are following along with the Hop, you have just arrived here from my talented friend Danielle Bennenk’s Blog, amazing project as always!!
For my project, I decided to create something with the Happy Tails Bundle found on page 33 of the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalogue and the Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies
I chose to create these cards because of my Lola, she has gotten up there in age (she will be 15 in May) and is having serious health issues that will not get better. She is an important part of our family and my baby, my shadow and constant companion. As she nears the end of her life I thought about others who will lose their fur babies and wanted to create cards that would be appropriate to send.
Here is my baby, she is so silly, and does not look her age at all! She loves to nap in the strangest places!
Here are the measurements for my card, and yes, I fixed the card after I was done filming, sometimes while filming these things do happen, you just have to roll with them.
Crumb Cake cardstock base, cut to 4 1/4″ x 11″ and score at 5 1/2″
Balmy Blue (my other card is Blushing Bride for the loss of a female fur baby) cardstock, cut to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″, plus another piece to die cut out the stitched scalloped heart
Whisper White cardstock, cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″ (you need 2 pieces of this, one for the outside and one for the inside)
Crumb Cake cardstock, cut to 4″ x 5 1/4″, this is the top layer that you die cut the heart out of, stamp on and run through the Big Shot using the Subtle Embossing Folder
All of the products I used are available for purchase in my Online Store, simply click on the images below to add them to your shopping cart. You can also click on the Shop Now button at the top of the page. Thank You for shopping with me, I truly appreciate your business xo
Hugs,
Marcy

Awe, the puppy is so cute as a sponged silhouette! The negative space left from the punch made a great stencil.
