Clubhouse Shaker Card

Hi everyone!

Today I am sharing a card with you for the Creating Kindness Design Team’s monthly Blog Hop

This month our theme is Shaker Cards, and I have a fun golf shaker card to share with you!

Look at those fun little golf balls inside my shaker, so fun!

Do you golf, or anyone you know? We are a golfing family with 4 out of the 5 of us being golfers, me being the worst in the bunch ha-ha. My boys have competed competitively since they were very young, and you can bet that golf is on the TV in our house on the weekends all season long!

I used the fun Absolutely Argyle 3D Embossing Folder that is part of this suite for the card front, and my window is die cut out using the Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies, I made the frame for the window buy using two of the dies

I sponged Pear Pizzazz and Pool Party ink on the inside piece to represent the grass and sky as my golfer is hitting balls on the driving range. My sentiment is stamped in Night Of Navy

My golfer is stamped in Smoky Slate ink and coloured in with the following Stampin’ Blends; Ivory, Light Balmy Blue, Light Smoky Slate, Light Gray Granite, Light Crumb Cake, Light Daffodil Delight, Old Olive Combo

Here are the measurements for my card;

Thick Whisper White card stock base – 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″, plus a piece to stamp the golfer on and die cut out using the coordinating die

Garden Green card stock -4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″, plus a piece for die cutting out the window frame

Night Of Navy card stock – 4″ x 5/14″

Whisper White card stock – 4″ x 5 1/4″, this layer is for sponging the grass and sky that appears through the window, as well as a scrap piece for die cutting out all of the golf balls using the coordinating die
