Seaside Notions & Watercolour Pencils

Hi everyone!

Today I am here with the Creating Kindness Design Team for our monthly Blog Hop, this month our theme is Watercolour Pencils and our guest designer is Liz Yuille

For my project, I chose the pretty Seaside Notions stamp set from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue and the gorgeous Ornate Layers Dies that are part of the Ornate Garden Suite that has been released early from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue

I used an Aqua Painter with my Watercolour pencils, then fussy cut out the images, a little bit of work but so worth the effort!!

My Seahorse is popped up on dimensionals, while my coral and shell are glued straight down on the card stock

And you can’t forget to show the inside of your card some stamped love!

Here are the measurements and supplies I used to create my card;

Coastal Cabana card stock base – 4-1.4″ x 11″ and scored at 5-1/2″

Vellum card stock – 4″ x 5-1/4″

Basic Black card stock – piece large enough to die cut out a frame from the Ornate Layers Dies

Shimmery White card stock – 2-1/8″ x 3-1/2″, plus scraps to stamp the Seahorse, shell and coral on, colour in and fussy cut out

Whisper White card stock – 4″ x 5-1/4″

My Classic Stampin’ Pad colours are as follows; Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo, Gorgeous Grape and Sahara Sand

I used both the Watercolour Pencils and Watercolour Pencils Assortment 2 to colour in the images, the colours are as follows; Balmy Blue, Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo, Gorgeous Grape
