Good Morning everyone.
Can you believe it’s Wednesday already, crazy I know!!
Today’s card was so fun and easy to make, I saw a bunch of cards on Pinterest using painters tape techique so I just had to give it a try! I love the way it turned out, mind you I did have to play around with it for a bit until I found the colour I wanted, my first attempt was with Crumb Cake, wowzers it was too dark for what I wanted! It is kinda hard to see in my photo I think but trust me it really does look great! I am having a hard time trying to take a picture with my camera that shows the colour and detail of my cards, I have tried every room in my house with different lighting and I’m still not happy so it will just have to do I guess.
You take a piece of painters tape longer than your ink pad and place it gently on top of it and gently tap/rub to transfer the ink. Carefully place your piece of tape on your cardstock and gently tap/rub, do not press hard or the tape will stick to your paper, remove and repeat, unless you are using another colour that is. I used one colour only for my card, I also did not put a greeting/sentiment on it so I can use it for whatever I need.
Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate it!
