Today I am here with the creating Kindness Design Team, this month we are showcasing Embossing and our guest designer is the talented Dena Albee. Dena can be found at http://www.pocketfulofstamps/com/
If you are following along with our Hop in order, then you have arrived here from the talented Carolynn Sander’s Blog, wasn’t her project fantastic!
For my project, I combined dry embossing and heat embossing.
I used the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and heat embossed the sentiment for Timeless Tidings stamp set using Copper Embossing Powder. I love how my card using two types of embossing turned out!
It is hard to tell in the photo, but I used some Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint on the Tin Tile embossed background, I hope you are not getting tired of me sharing projects using Shimmer Paint, because I am not tired of using it!!
Here is the video I did to show how I created this beautiful card.
Here are the dimensions for my card;
Thick Very Vanilla card stock, cut to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored at 4 1/4″
Copper Foil Sheets, cut to 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
Very Vanilla card stock, cut to 5 1/4″ x 4″ (I ran this through the Big Shot with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder, and then used some Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint with a Sponge Dauber across this)
Merry Merlot & Copper 5/8″ Reversible Ribbon, I tied this around the two layers and fastened it with a bow
Copper Foil Sheets die cut out using a circle from the Stitched Shapes
Very Vanilla card stock die cut out using a Layering Circle and then the sentiment was stamped with Versamark and then heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder and my Heat Tool.
