Hi everyone!
Today I have a pretty card to share with you that uses “masking” to create.
Masking is a fun technique that I haven’t done in quite a while, so it was great to use this technique again!
For those of you that are not totally sure what masking is, let me explain. You take your stamp that you are going to be using and stamp it on a Post-It Note, making sure to have enough of the sticky strip included in the stamped image. You then cut that stamped image out to create your mask, once you have stamped your image on the card front, you place the “mask” over to of the stamped image to protect it from your next stamped image. This way you can layer your images, creating more depth and interest to your card/project.
Here are the measurements for my card so you can recreate it at home!
Thick Whisper White cardstock base, cut to 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2″
Poppy Parade cardstock, cut to 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
